Tom was an amazing person. His friendship was unexpected and cherished. My time in his home Studio 8 hours per day for a week or so opened my ears and mind to how brilliant this man was. With no music background as far as playing some acoustic guitar which he had in his studio he was gifted with an
innate eat for instrument sound especially Drums sounds or how each drum should sound then rebuild them to perfectionism. He took on my CD project and did the impossible, he went as far as introducing my CD to Steve Miller wanting me to pursue opening for Steve Miller and Bonnie Raitt
which I passed on as I was on my way to being an opening act.
How now I wished I listened to Tom. He told me that my CD had a Grammy winner. I miss his guidance but mostly going out for Mexican food and his experience s of Sailing and seeing his photography of his amazing vacation’s.
